Hi, I’m Jordan Jankowski and I teach in the Commack Middle School Technology Department. This site will act as a Home page for the department. Our projects are mostly open-ended design challenges. We use the design cycle as a tool to help students be organized and systematic throughout the project. The first stage, “INVESTIGATION”, is very important. The videos, images and links are to be used as teaching aids when building the students knowledge base, before actual design takes place. http://cmstechnology.synthasite.com/

My name is Michael. I teach fourth grade and have created a functional website that I plan on having linked to my school website. The version I created is relatively static and includes student expectations, policies, curriculum overview, and helpful links that parents and students should be able to use from home. The links are segmented by curriculum area and include reference materials, math practice games, webquests, and videos. I used the yola.com service. It was easy to use, but there are some formatting challenges when converting documents from Word or Powerpoint. http://believeinyourself.synthasite.com/

My name is Nancy Corso and currently the bulk of my teaching assignment is the Advanced Placement United States History course at Sachem East High School. I designed my webpage with my AP students in mind and therefore titled it Mrs. Corso's APUSH. I included the syllabus for the course, a list of upcoming quizzes, unit tests and due dates for reading assignments on the calendar page and a number of links to various websites that should prove quite useful i.e. textbook site, APCentral site, Library of Congress, American Presidents just to name a few. Needless to say my students were thrilled and can check to see what is coming up in class and when a particular reading, discussion or writing assignment is due.

Hello. My name is Crystal Nardone and I teach Spanish at Sachem High School East. I created this website in order to improve communication with my students and their parents. I have included my class room rules for behavior and an attendance policy which is in accordance with district policy. My grading and homework policies are clearly defined. The site includes websites that provide practice in grammatical and cultural topics. Placing homework assignments and project instructions on the website help insure that the student remain aware of his responsibilities. Hopefully this website will help my students become more responsible and enjoy learning a foreign language.
